Pitch To Help England 2018 World Cup

PR agency Pitch has been hired on a project basis to help launch England’s 2018 World Cup bid at Wembley, which includes offering support for the initial stage of the campaign.

The launch will include senior members of the England bid team, footballers past and present and politicians, with the aim being to show a united front with English football, according to the 2018 bid’s communications director Kris Dent.

Dent added that Pitch will be joined by several more agencies in the near future to focus on media rel­ations, with the in-house team taking control of the key lobbying aspect of the campaign.
