Grassroots club website provider Pitchero has launched a partnership with iCrick, headed up by Ashes and World T20 winner Tim Bresnan and County Championship winning captain Andrew Gale, to bring coaching expertise to community cricket across the UK.
To kick-off Pitchero’s partnership with the iCrick app the two have launched the ‘Coaching Academy’, an online hub of cricket coaching videos and advice. The two will be working together throughout the summer to give community cricket the chance to play like the pros.
Featuring a number of videos covering every aspect of cricket, the Coaching Academy gives grassroots cricketers the chance to learn from international and domestic stars such as Tim Bresnan, Andrew Gale and Adam Lyth. Plus, Sky commentator David “Bumble” Lloyd lends decades of cricket knowledge by narrating each video.
Tim said: “We’re excited to be working with Pitchero to bring our cricketing expertise to the grassroots game. Thousands of community players make cricket what it is every weekend, and we’re thrilled to be bringing them an online resource where they can improve their skills.”
Pitchero’s CEO and Sport Industry NextGen Leader, Mark Fletcher added: “Pitchero are coming up to their 10th year of working with grassroots and community sport. Our partnership with iCrick allows us to enrich customer relationships and further engage the grassroots community.
“As we grow our brand into areas beyond websites and team management, collaborations such as this place Pitchero at the heart of improving community sport.”
