Pitchero has been announced as headline sponsor for the ACES Nationals football tournament, taking place between 17th June and 2nd July. ACES brings together juniors from grassroots football and provides an opportunity for amateur youth players to be recognised by top-tier teams.

Pitchero will be filming the majority of this year’s tournament, with highlights posted on the Pitchero and ACES website, as well as supporting blogs and social channels in real time.

Founded in 2009 by Andy Panayiotou and David Cooper, the Pitchero ACES Nationals, sanctioned by the FA, welcomes over 300 teams to compete for various age-specific and gender-specific national champion titles.

Those invited to attend include top league champions and county cup winners, offering three weekends of youth football. Past ACES tournament players have been offered contracts from the Premier League through to the lower leagues, from the likes of QPR, Birmingham and Aston Villa.

Mark Fletcher, CEO of Pitchero, commented: “We are thrilled to become headline sponsors for the ACES National Tournament. By delivering real-time highlights through Pitchero Play, we are shining a national light on the UK’s best junior players, helping to showcase the gold standard for grassroots football. ACES Nationals provides a unique platform for youth to showcase their talents which may just lead to a young athlete achieving their dream of signing for a professional club.”
