Polar Appoints Promote PR

Polar, a wearable sports technology company, has appointed Promote PR to manage consumer and trade public relations and sports marketing in the UK.

Promote will be working to gain exposure for Polar in the marketplace and manage the pipeline of new products launching throughout 2017. This will include activation of partnerships, engagement with influencers, ambassadors and media and topical campaigns.

Promote’s current clients include, Boudavida, British Rowing, The ECB, Elevate, England Athletics, England Hockey, England Netball, Les Mills, Life Fitness, Meridian Foods, RDHS, Reading Half Marathon, Running4Women, Parkwood Leisure, Polar, SIBEC, Sweatshop Events, TeamUp, The Gym Group, TRX, Wattbike, Windsor Half Marathon.

Headquartered in Finland, Polar creates heart rate monitoring systems, activity trackers and training computers. The brand’s remit also includes GPS-enabled bike computers, fitness and running watches, as well as heart rate monitors and performance trackers. The products are designed for any activity ranging from swimming, cross-training and yoga to tracking your daily activity and calories burned.
