Golfer Ian Poulter has signed a deal with Viktre, a content platform that promotes the lives of athletes.
The British golfer will star in a video series ‘The real Ian Poulter – a look inside’ as part of the deal, with viewers able to take a look into his life away from the golf course.
The first of the eight-part series will be titled ‘Dreamflight’.
Financial terms and the length of the deal were not disclosed, but the new agreement will see Poulter join a roster of over 1,000 athletes on the platform, which controls sports stars’ brands and allows them to tell their own stories.
Poulter said of the new partnership: “Viktre is the perfect complement to what I am already doing on social media. My partnership with Viktre makes it easier for me to control my brand and tell my stories. Viktre is a platform where I can talk about my love of cars, my charities and of course golf. What I’m most excited about, however, is that Viktre gives me a platform that easily connects me to athletes from different sports all over the world.”
