Powerboat P1 Appoints Champions

International marine motorsport promoter, Powerboat P1 Management, has confirmed global communications agency, Champions (UK), as agency of choice to implement the its worldwide communications strategy.

P1 are the global rights-holder for the P1 SuperStock powerboat championship, P1 AquaX personal watercraft championship and P1 Jetcross stand-up ski racing series, with offices in Florida, London and Malaysia.

The firm has chosen Champions to deliver a global communications service with the aim of bringing the sport to a wider audience. Through Influencer Champions, the business’ influencer agency, they will work to source relevant social media influencers to raise awareness and boost the Powerboat P1 brand.

The P1 event calendar kicks off on 21st April in Miami, with series events held globally across seven countries, including the UK, France, Switzerland, Spain and the USA.

Champions, CEO Azam Rangoonwala at Powerboat P1 said: “We’re delighted to join forces with the established brand agency, Champions (UK) plc and we are excited to work together to continue the growth of P1 around the world.

“2018 will see P1 stage 19 events in seven countries from April through to November and we cannot wait to get started.”
