Premier League Champs Expand Tyre Portfolio
Manchester United have continued their trend of market-specific deals after signing a second tyre partner in as many weeks, with Federal Corporation confirmed as the club’s official tyre partner in Russia and Taiwan.
Manchester United’s group managing director Richard Arnold said: ‘Federal demonstrates passion, innovation and quality, making it an attractive partner for Manchester United. It is a company that prides itself on customer satisfaction and striving to be best in its field.’
‘These ambitions give us the confidence that our fans will benefit from this new and exciting partnership. The club has almost 18 million followers in Russia and with a third of Taiwanese football fans following United, we are able to provide Federal with a sizeable audience to engage with.’
The deal was announced in Moscow on Wednesday, at an event attended by the Taiwanese firm’s chief executive Jamie Ma.
Last week, United signed an agreement with Apollo Tyres, a deal covering the UK and India.
The club has got off to a solid start to the defence of their Barclays Premier League title, with four points from their opening two games.
