Malaysian pay-TV provider Astro has signed a three-year extension of its exclusive Premier League and FA Cup broadcast rights.
Taking effect from the 2025/26 season, the renewal will see the English topflight and domestic cup competition remain on the network until the end of the 2027/28 campaign.
Astro will air all 380 Premier League matches throughout the season, as well as all FA Cup fixtures.

As part of its coverage, the broadcaster will additionally provide localised content, and will continue its ‘From KL to PL’ programme, which sees Malaysian celebrities visit England to experience the Premier League.
Astro’s current stable of sports rights includes the NBA, Formula 1, and MotoGP, as well as various cricket and tennis content.
The network initially acquired Premier League rights in 2022, signing a three-year agreement.
“This renewal demonstrates our commitment to continue delivering the very best of sports to Malaysians,” said Euan Smith, Group CEO at Astro.
“The Premier League is a cornerstone of our sports programming, and we look forward to bringing fans closer to the action through our extensive coverage, innovative shows and engaging experiences.”
Paul Molnar, Chief Media Officer, at the Premier League, added, “Astro has been instrumental in bringing the Premier League to Malaysian fans for more than a decade, showcasing the competition with consistency, quality, and passion.
“This renewal reflects our shared commitment to providing world-class football entertainment to supporters across Malaysia.”
