The Premier League has inked a multi-year trading card partnership that will see Fanatics Collectibles replace Panini from June 2025.

As per the agreement, Fanatics Collectibles will become the league’s exclusive provider of trading cards, trading card games and stickers for all 20 English top-flight clubs.

Formerly known as Topps, Fanatics Collectibles was acquired by the licensed sports merchandise giant in 2022 for a sum of $500m (£400.57m).

Under its former name, the trading card specialist was a partner of the Premier League between 1994 and 2019, before the Premier League struck a licensing partnership with rival Panini in 2019, which was later extended in 2021.

Fanatics’ growing football roster includes deals with UEFA for its club competitions, as well as the Bundesliga, and MLS. Outside of football, the online retailer has agreements with Formula 1, MLB and the UFC.

Will Brass, Chief Commercial Officer of the Premier League, said, “[Fanatics] bring an outstanding track record and strong commitment to innovation, helping fans all over the world express their passion for the sports they love.

“Through this partnership, we will be able to create a truly memorable collectible experience for all.”
