The Premier League has struck a four-year licensing partnership with Sports Interactive for the Football Manager simulation video game series.

From the 2024/25 season, the title game will have licensing rights to all 20 Premier League club logos, kits and player images.

As per the agreement, Football Manager also becomes the English top-flight’s official football management video game.

Further details of the partnership, including the Premier League’s in-game integration with the video game series, will be revealed later this year.

Miles Jacobson, Studio Director at Sports Interactive, said, “Football Manager has been a big part of the sporting landscape for decades, and is loved and enjoyed by millions of fans around the world.

“We are thrilled that the Premier League will now feature even more prominently in the game, helping to deliver a deeper, more authentic experience for anybody who takes on the challenge of managing a Premier League club.”

Only two Premier League clubs have fully licensed player faces in the 2024 edition of Football Manager, namely champions Manchester City and Brighton. The video game series’ other partners include Brentford, Burnley, Watford and AFC Wimbledon.

In 2022, Sports Interactive acquired licensing rights for all UEFA club competitions, bringing the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League to the game for its 2023 edition.
