Premiership Rugby has announced a partnership with British watch brand Christopher Ward.

The deal sees the company, which is headquartered in Maidenhead, become the official timekeeper of English rugby union’s top-flight league.

Christopher Ward branding will be visible across all Premiership rugby stadiums with prominence on the shot clocks introduced to the league this season to accelerate the pace of games.

Stadium clocks will also be branded by the Christopher Ward name and television viewers on TNT Sports, the rebranded BT Sport channel, and ITV will see new on-screen time-keeping graphics.

Mark Brittain, Chief Commercial Officer of Premiership Rugby, said, “We are so pleased to welcome Christopher Ward to the Premiership Rugby family.

“It is great to partner with a British brand who share our values and passion for growing the game and we are excited to work alongside them through this partnership.”

Mike France, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Christopher Ward, commented, “It’s an honour to be the official timekeeper of the league. Rugby is a passion for many of our customers and so we are delighted to be a part of the exciting future of Premiership Rugby.”
