Premium TV Wins Fapl Digital Contract
Digital rights specialist Premium TV has won the pitch to handle the production
contract for FA Premier League’s mobile and internet rights for the next three
years.
Following a competitive tender process, Premium TV will provide FA Premier
League licensees with near-live in match mobile clips and match highlights
packages, as well as general preview and round-up programming.
For the broadband licensees the production service will also include match
highlights and general round-up material.
Premium TV will integrate directly with all the FA Premier League’s
international clips partners and make their service available through a new
Digital Distribution Centre, ensuring that each of the mobile and internet clips
packages are produced to the same high quality level.
Premium TV already handles the production contract for the Football League
having held a long-term deal with the organisation’s digital subsidiary, FL
Interactive.
