Prime Minister Gordon Brown and former England rugby player Lawrence Dallaglio have teamed up to launch London Wasps’ St George’s Day game.
The match against Bath in Round 21 of the Guiness Premiership will be played at Twickenham and £1 from each ticket sold will go towards the charity Help for Heroes.
Wasps is hoping to generate a six figure sum for the charity as they hope to sell out the 82,000 capacity stadium.
The Rugby Football Union has agreed to host an annual St George’s Day game at Twickenham for the next three years, with some of the gate receipts to be donated to charitable causes.
The charity Help for Heroes is an organisation that supports service personnel injured in combat.
