Newly promoted Premier League football club Fulham FC has announced the extension of the club’s partnership with blockchain based mobile network World Mobile.

After one year as the front-of-shirt sponsor in Fulham’s EFL Championship title-winning season, World Mobile will move onto the sleeve of the official matchday shirt for the men’s, women’s and academy U21 & U18 teams for the 2022/23 Premier League season.

Under this extended partnership, the World Mobile logo will also feature on the front of the official Fulham FC training kits, including training tops, pre-match training jersey and travel wear, worn by both the playing and coaching staff.

The renewed partnership will aim to build greater integration between the West London club and the blockchain infrastructure that underpins World Mobile’s sharing economy. As part of this extended partnership, Fulham has opted to hold World Mobile Token (WMT) in the Fulham FC treasury. World Mobile is also in discussions to release exclusive NFT projects built on the Cardano ecosystem to raise awareness around the continued partnership with Fulham FC.

World Mobile CEO, Micky Watkins, said, ”There are only 20 teams in the Premier League, and this opportunity we have to showcase World Mobile to billions of viewers is one we relish. We have built a new sharing economy in a trillion-dollar market that anyone can be a part of a new economic model that rewards people for directly connecting customers and that redistributes the wealth back to many.

“World Mobile is a people-powered unstoppable mobile network, and our continued partnership with Fulham FC will help spread the word and truly kickstart the sharing economy.”

Fulham FC Sales Director Jon Don Carolis added, “We’re delighted that World Mobile has extended their partnership with Fulham Football Club after a successful season for both organisations. We have developed an excellent working relationship with World Mobile and will continue to support them in their mission to improve connectivity in territories requiring development in this area by using our channels and platforms to promote the great work they do.”
