Prudential, the health and life insurance company, has announced it will become a match-day sponsor of Saracens F.C.’s upcoming match at Wembley against Harlequins as well as their fixture against Gloucester at the Honourable Artillery Company.

The company will use the brand to promote its Vitality programme which offers incentives to its customers to live a healthy lifestyle including discounted gym memberships. The match against Gloucester will be called the ‘Vitality Rugby Challenge.’

Nigel Wray, chairman of Saracens, said of the partnership: ‘These matches are unique in their own ways – the Wembley match may well attract the largest crowd to watch any rugby match ever played in England, and our games at the HAC have now become sell-out, calendar events within shouting distance of Moorgate. We are delighted to welcome PruHealth and PruProtect with Vitality as match day sponsors.’

Chief executive of PruHealth, Neville Koopowitz, added: ‘This exciting Partnership with Saracens further extends our association with elite sports teams and sports people, who exemplify the benefits of health through sport. As the world’s largest incentive based wellness programme, Vitality encourages people to live a healthy lifestyle and looks to provide new ways of inspiring and motivating them, and so we are delighted to be associated with the Saracens.’
