Sportswear brand Puma has signed up England cricket star Andrew Flintoff as a brand ambassador in a new four-year deal.
Flintoff’s contract with Puma will see him play in Puma branded footwear and cricket equipment as well as wearing Puma sports lifestyle ranges off the pitch.
The England all-rounder joins the likes of Australian wicket-keeper Adam Gilchrist and New Zealand star Brendan McCullum as Puma endorsees for the brand’s cricket range.
The signing of Flintoff comes ahead of Puma’s decision to make its entire cricket collection 100% PVC free in 2009 as part of the brand’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
