London-based sports nutrition brand Puresport has raised £3.6m in a funding round supported by Redrice Ventures, Five Seasons Ventures, and additional investment from Finn Russell and Ben Earl.

Puresport, founded in 2018 by former Scotland internationals Adam Ashe and Grayson Hart, has focused on sport and wellness supplements, particularly targeting the growing UK recreational running community.

The funding round has included backing from Redrice Ventures, an early investor in British sportswear brand Castore, and Five Seasons Ventures, known for investing in high-growth companies.

Russell and Earl, who had previously invested in the company, have increased their financial involvement. Their support has come as Puresport prepares to grow its presence in both domestic and international markets.

The raise has coincided with increased activity across the UK’s running sector, as highlighted by Strava data showing a 9% rise in races logged last year. The development has taken place shortly before the 2025 London Marathon.

Daniel Temm, Puresport CEO, said “This investment provides the muscle we need to build a category-defining brand that people feel like they belong to.

“We have a plan to scale, in the UK, the US, and beyond, while staying profitable and true to our purpose. But our real goal is to build something that lasts – a brand that shapes the future of performance nutrition, one that people wear proudly, shout about, and feel connected to.”
