Qbe Insurance Strikes Sale Sharks Deal

QBE Insurance has struck a sponsorship deal with rugby union team the Sale
Sharks, the current Guinness Premiership champions.

The insurance firm, which operates in 41 countries around the world including
nine UK offices, will have its logo emblazoned on the players’ shorts for the
rest of the 2006/07 season.

As well as branding on the players, QBE will also be provided with a
corporate hospitality package at the Sale ground.

QBE Insurance is already active in rugby in the Southern Hemisphere through
is sponsorship of North Harbour who play in the New Zealand National Provincial
Championship as well as their sponsorship of Aussie Rules club Sydney Swans.
