New team horseracing competition, Racing League, has unveiled a content partnership with News UK, that will see the likes of talkSPORT, The Sun, The Times and The Sunday Times open up racing to new audiences.

The reported ‘multi-million pound’ partnership will primarily see The Sun publish bespoke pull-out supplements for each of the six evening meets, while The Times will feature comprehensive Racing League previews each time.

The Sun’s fantasy game, Dream Team, will also partner with the Racing League to give fans the opportunity to pick their own racing team and a chance to win £10,000. Finally, all 36 of the Racing Leagues races will be aired live on both talkSPORT and talkSPORT2.

Racing League’s Chief Marketing Officer, Oli Harris, said: “This investment in media is unprecedented in our sport, and will help fulfil our aim to take racing mainstream this summer. We want millions of people to share in the fun and excitement of Racing League and follow the drama of the competition over a two-month period.

“In terms of media prestige, our aim is to position horseracing alongside football, rugby and cricket, where it once was, and Racing League’s partnership with News UK will help us achieve that goal.”
