Following the news that the newly-formed Racing League had partnered with News UK, the competition has official revealed it’s first teams – supported by News UK brand talkSPORT, ODDSBible, eToro and The Goat Agency.
The teams will be formally known as Team talkSPORT, Team ODDSBible, eToro Racing and Goat Racing, and will be managed by Alan Brazil, Sam Sangster, William Easterby and footballer Charlie Austin, respectively.
The announcement leaves eight teams still to be revealed, and the 12 teams will compete at six consecutive Thursday evening race meetings from 29th July, vying for a total prize pot of over £2m.
Jeremy Wray, CEO of Racing League, said: “Partnering with talkSPORT, ODDSbible, eToro, and The Goat Agency epitomises what Racing League is all about.
“These partnerships demonstrate our bold intent to forge long-term relationships with the next generation of horseracing sponsors, which in turn will help Racing League engage with a new type of racing fan.
“They are brands who are positively disrupting their respective industries, which is what Racing League is aiming to accomplish with horseracing. We’re thrilled to have them on board, and look forward to working closely with them and connecting with their audiences.”
