Ravensbeck Partners With Rugby Sevens

Global media management firm Ravensbeck has signed an investment deal with Ultimate Rugby Sevens.

Ravensbeck, run by former Walt Disney TV international president and COO, David Hulbert and Tim Richards, will work with Ultimate Rugby Sevens to help build the existing online networking business and grow the global portfolio of Rugby Sevens media rights.

The International Olympic Committee decided in late 2009 that Rugby Sevens will make its debut at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Ultimate Rugby Sevens recently announced the first-ever UK National Sevens Series, which will be staged during the summer of 2010 at a number of venues around the country.
