Royal Bank of Scotland has signed an agreement to become the principal partner of Scottish Rugby from the national side to grass roots level.??
The bank agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal which begins with immediate effect and will run until May 2014.??
RBS has been a sponsor of the Six Nations Championship since 2003 and Scottish Rugby chief executive Gordon McKie said he’s delighted that the bank has extended its ties with rugby.
??’We are focused on growing our sport at all levels and this integrated partnership with RBS will enable us to build upon our growth plans across the game,’ said McKie.??
Scottish Rugby has also revealed that the Murray Group will continue its sponsorship of the national team until the end of March next year.
EMC Computer Systems Limited also recently signed a three-year agreement with the Scotland Rugby Union to sponsor Scotland’s Autumn Tests until 2012.
