Red Bull Racing is eyeing a potential title sponsorship according to its Austrian owner Dietrich Mateschitz.

The Milton Keynes-based team is leading the constructors’ championship and drivers Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel are top of the drivers’ standings.

‘As soon as Red Bull Racing is recognised as an established team, a title sponsor could be possible,’ said Mateschitz.

Mateschitz, 66, is believed to favour a luxury goods brand for the naming rights to the team.

Team boss Christian Horner admitted in Monaco last weekend that Red Bull could fall behind because it doesn’t ‘quite have the resource of the more established teams.’
