Red Bull Media House has rolled out new, never before seen VR content, which includes skiing the Streif, an aerobatic helicopter ride and cliff dive into the Adriatic Sea.

Red Bull VR is letting users take the plunge at one of the stops on the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series tour: Polignano a Mare, Italy. The five-minute virtual reality experience is an inside look at the highlights from the contest, showing everything from the divers’ point of view, to underwater shots capturing the moment they hit the water.

The Flying Bulls’ chief helicopter pilot Siegfried “Blacky” Schwarz takes viewers on a helicopter aerobatics ride in VR. Sitting next to the multiple world champion while he makes the sky his playground. Blacky’s helicopter is a BO105  – this type of helicopter is one of very few in the world licensed for aerobatic flying. The viewers are presented with a bird’s eye view of the Dachstein area in Austria and experience a dance in the sky.

The VR stories can be experienced at RedBull.com/VR via desktops, mobile devices, and tablets, using the track pad or touch screen for navigation. A fully immersive split-screen option for each story is available for users of head mounted displays, console VR headsets or projection accessories that pair with many smart phones.

More Red Bull VR programming will be continually introduced.
