Red Bull Racing And Bmc Strike Deal

Bike manufacturer BMC has been announced as an official partner of Red Bull Racing.

According to a statement on Red Bull Racing’s website, the partnership between the Swiss bike brand and the Formula 1 team initially began as technical relationship in 2018 with the aim of exploring ‘the intersection between Formula 1 and high-performance competition bicycles.’

Under terms of the new agreement, BMC will now serve as an official team partner, and will continue to supply bikes for trackside used by the by the travelling race team, as well as for staff at the Red Bull Technology Campus in Milton Keynes.

The partnership will also see both organisations running joint activations with current Red Bull Racing drivers Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez in addition to BMC athletes.

Red Bull Racing Team Principal and CEO, Christian Horner, added, “This new agreement takes an already hugely successful collaboration to a new level.

“We have been working closely with BMC for almost four years and the application of Formula 1 technologies to performance cycling has yielded some impressive results. Now we are building on that success to encompass a new partnership that will increase visibility, enhance engagement, and connect fans of cycling and motor sport in new and exciting ways.”
