Red Paddle Co Launches Nationwide Road Trip

British stand up paddle board brand, Red Paddle Co, is gearing up for a road trip around the UK giving everyone the opportunity to have a ride on one of their boards.

With a board to match every rider, whether a complete beginner or a seasoned racer, the tour is open to all, providing visitors with the chance to meet other riders, find out more about the sport and test some of the boards under expert supervision.

George Shillito, brand communications manager, Red Paddle Co, said: “Stand up paddle boarding has taken the watersports and fitness world by storm. Most people have heard of SUP and if they’ve not tried it then it’s certainly on people’s to do lists. The beauty of the sport is that it is accessible for all and possibilities are endless. People paddle pretty much anywhere they can find water! In fact, I used to commute to work on the regents canal after taking my board on the tube to Paddington, it’s that easy!”

Red Paddle Co has partnered with fitness company, Rabble, to run immersive team games during their London stop over at Wake Up Docklands, and also Lululemon Athletica, who will have a mobile meditation bus on site.

Shillito was selected as a Sport Industry NextGen Leader 2017. Entries are open for the 2018 programme of Sport Industry NextGen in partnership with Barclays, you can find more information here.

The remaining stops of the road trip includes Manley Mere in Cheshire (1st Aug), North Dock, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire (2nd Aug), Wakeup Docklands, London (3rd Aug) and the final stop in Newquay, Cornwall (5th Aug).
