London-based RedTorch has partnered with Brazil-based marketing communications agency Sherlock Communications to assist sports organisations in the delivery of communications strategies for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
RedTorch will work with Sherlock Communications for the delivery of both global and local communications strategies, using Sherlock’s knowledge of the Brazilian market and local connections.
“Our partnership with Sherlock allows us to offer our clients and other brands the opportunity to create and activate communications campaigns in Brazil (and worldwide) in the lead up to, during, and after the Rio 2016 Olympic Games,” said Jonny Murch, managing director, RedTorch. “We’re confident that with our understanding of and connections across international sport, combined with Sherlock’s knowledge of the local Brazilian market, we can provide creative and effective communications support.”
“With a fusion of British methodology and Brazilian creativity, our expert team on the ground in Brazil is ready to support companies with their Rio 2016 activation plans,” said Alasdair Townsend, director, Sherlock Communications.
”Our insight into the cultural and operational challenges of working in Brazil, coupled with RedTorch’s understanding of international sport, will enable us to deliver both local and global campaigns linked to the world’s biggest sports event in 2016.”
