Energy drink brand Reign Total Body Fuel has launched a new multi-market campaign called #ReadyToReign with the backing of several famous ambassadors.
The campaign’s hero film showcases the brand’s ambassadors, with follow-up documentary-style films also telling the individuals’ real-life stories of overcoming adversity.
The ambassadors who are featured in the films are Tom Stoltman, who was crowned the World’s Strongest Man in 2021, professional bodybuilder Kai Greene and Cris Cyborg, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest female mixed martial artists of all time.
Stoltman’s film explores his autism diagnosis, how the gym “saved his life” and how reaching out to a sports psychologist proved to be the final piece of the puzzle in his quest to become the strongest man in the world.
The second film follows Greene’s journey to the top, after he was raised in an orphanage and foster care in the projects in Brooklyn, New York.
Cyborg’s film, meanwhile, underlines her incredible strength of character that pushed her to greatness after moving from her native Brazil to the US with the dream of making a name for herself in a male-dominated sport.
The phased content series will be amplified via paid social media, influencer marketing and other PR channels.
Ben Ashlin, VP of Brands at Reign Total Body Fuel, said, “#ReadyToReign is a campaign that features incredible people, achieving incredible things and sharing incredible stories. We want to inspire others to push themselves, dream big and fuel their grit and determination along the way.”
