Rugby Football Union has hired consultancy Whitestone to restructure the governing body’s brand.
In addition to restructuring the RFU’s brand and sub-brand portfolio, Whitestone will work on the England Rugby, Community Rugby and Twickenham brands.
The agency’s director Chris Lightfoot said Whitestone is out to produce something that will ‘convey a powerful message about the RFU’s business approach to all of its varied audiences.’
In an effort to unify the sport’s image, the restructuring is to provide clear message to the RFU’s commercial teams and partners.
Lightfoot claimed the work is currently at the analytical stage and is set to be complete early next year.
