RFU Selects Matta For 2016 Initiatives

The Rugby Football Union (RFU) has awarded a series of briefs to sports and health creative agency, MATTA.

After a number of pitches, the RFU have appointed MATTA to work on various creative projects throughout 2016.

These include initiatives working across England Rugby Sevens, and also the England Rugby Supporters Club in the first instance.

Nic Fletcher, head of marketing, RFU, said: “MATTA has incredibly strong sport credentials, and have consistently impressed us with their strategic ability and creative flair – we are delighted to have them on board for 2016.”

Matt Hunt, strategy & brand director, MATTA said: “It’s wonderful to be working with such a forward-thinking governing body who have such a wide range of innovative initiatives in the pipeline. We are honoured to play a part in their progress.”

The first brief will be a promotional film to advertise the HSBC London Sevens, which takes place on 21st and 22nd May 2016 at Twickenham Stadium.
