Roc Nation In Double Business Wins With Leeds And Maro Itoje

Roc Nation has announced a new strategic partnership with Premier League side Leeds United, as well as unveiling the signing of England Rugby star Maro Itoje.

The music and sports management agency will be tasked with supporting expansion of the Leeds United brand in the USA and China, helping to grow the club in both markets, while  helping to develop its brand through ‘innovation, creativity and integrity’. 

According to Roc Nation, the pair have found a common point of interest in Leeds, which is a city renowned for its live music scene.

“We are delighted to welcome Roc Nation, one of the world’s leading music and sports management agencies, to the Leeds United family,” said Angus Kinnear, CEO, Leeds United.

“Our aim is to grow our fan base across all territories that Premier League football touches and Roc Nation’s unique profile and relationships will allow us to do so in areas such as the USA and the Far East. We will be working closely with the team at Roc Nation to ensure we use the power of the Premier League to establish our club as one of the biggest in world football.”

The partnership will centre around brand amplification and creative activation, as well as digital strategy, content development, and commercial sales.

Meanwhile, England and Saracens rugby player Maro Itoje has also joined the agency.

Heis the latest addition to the agency’s growing portfolio in the sport, joining Springboks pair Siya Kolisi and Cheslin Kolbe. 

Roc Nation’s interest in sport is also growing, with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Marcus Rashford, Wilfried Zaha, and Romelu Lukaku already on the books, while Leeds United will join Serie A side AC Milan in working with the agency.
