Rothesay Takes Naming Rights To LTA Events

Pensions insurance specialist Rothesay has become the new title sponsor of three of the UK’s showpiece grass court international tennis tournaments.

Through a new multi-year partnership with the LTA, Rothesay will take the rights to the televised ATP and WTA events in Nottingham, Birmingham and Eastbourne. These will now be known as Rothesay Open (Nottingham), Rothesay Classic (Birmingham) and Rothesay International (Eastbourne).

Rothesay will also become the LTA’s exclusive pensions partner and one of the supporting partners of the cinch Championships at The Queen’s Club.

Scott Lloyd, the LTA’s Chief Executive, said, “We’re very excited to have Rothesay on board as our partner and title sponsor for these three premier grass court events for the coming years. It is fantastic that they have decided to use our platform to tell their story and we look forward to working with Rothesay to promote tennis and our partnership.”

Rothesay, which will support the LTA’s strategy of opening up tennis to more people, manages over £60bn of assets and securing the future for over 800,000 people.
