Royal Parks Half Announces New Partner

The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon has announced Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) as the presenting partner for this year’s race on Sunday, 8th October.

The new partnership, developed with agency Limelight Sports, means the race will now be called “The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon presented by Royal Bank of Canada.”

RBC joins Jarlsberg and Heart Radio, who have already been announced as joining the roster of sponsors for the 10th year of the race.

Sara Lom, chief executive of the Royal Parks Foundation said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Royal Bank of Canada to the Half Marathon team in our 10th year. From day one, the race has built a reputation for its outstanding quality and care. Runners travel from all over the UK and the world to take part and we are very grateful to Royal Bank of Canada for their support which will help ensure that every runner, charity and corporate team enjoys an awesome experience in our celebration year.

Dave Thomas, CEO, RBC capital markets, Europe said: “Royal Bank of Canada has a long-standing tradition of supporting local charities and we are delighted to be partnering with the Royal Parks Half to celebrate their 10th anniversary and to support all the runners on the day.”

The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon will welcome runners to the streets and parks of the capital on Sunday, 8th October 2017. The 13.1 mile route races through four of London’s eight Royal Parks, including Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
