Rhino Rugby has extended its long-running relationship with Rugby Expo, as an official supplier of the event – as the convention prepares to be revamped for its 2011 edition.
The company’s Rhino Turf will be supplied as the surface of a specially created ‘Interactive Zone’ which will host a range of hands-on activities and demonstrations during the event.
Rhino Rugby has backed the convention for professional and community rugby since its inaugural event in 2008, and this year’s event will see it play a key role in one of a range of new initiatives.
Reg Clark, CEO of Rhino Rugby, said: ‘We will showcase all of the Rhino brands at the event and are delighted to be central to the new interactive Zone. Visitors will be able to experience the Rhino Turf Mini Park while watching live demonstrations’.
‘This is an example of how the organisers have made changes which will make the event more rewarding for attendees, exhibitors and partners alike’.
The Interactive Zone is one of a range of fundamental structural and marketing changes made for Rugby Expo 2011.
The Rugby Expo takes place at Twickenham, London on 23rd and 24th November.
Day one will focus on the issues facing the professional and international game while day two will be dedicated to community rugby, with complimentary Day Two tickets being made available to grass roots clubs via a number of partner channels.
Each session will also be complimented with a range of workshops designed to deliver practical and valuable information, insight and advice to those working in professional rugby.
The workshops will be led by experts able to draw on wide ranging experience inside and beyond the world of rugby.
John Hockey, chairman of Rugby Expo 2011 organisers Rugby Ventures, added: ‘Rugby Expo 2011 brings the world of rugby together in new and exciting ways and is set to underscore the event’s reputation as the key conference, and meeting place for the world of rugby worldwide’.
