Rugby League World Cup Marks One Year To Go Milestone

The Rugby League World Cup 2021 marked the one year to go milestone with a new film which seeks to capture the ‘passion and community pride’ of the tournament.

A new poem, The Power of Together, was penned by poet Tony Walsh and looks ahead to the World Cup, acting as a ‘rallying cry’ for communities in the north of England to get behind the tournament.

The milestone also marked the opening of the public ticket ballot.
