Rugby League World Cup Signs Partnership

The 2013 Rugby League World Cup, set to be staged in England and Wales, has signed a partnership with 4Sight Sport which will see the data marketing company become the official data agency of the event.

Mark Foster, marketing manager of RLWC2013, said of the deal: ‘Rugby League World Cup 2013 is a major event in the sporting calendar and so far ticket sales have been very encouraging. We are looking forward to continuing to use 4Sight’s services to develop our data and fan engagement strategy and build on the excitement that a major tournament brings to the country.’

Managing director of 4Sight Sport & Leisure, Garry Adamson, added: ‘Data driven sales and marketing strategies are now seen as a crucial method for sports rights holders to achieve their commercial aims. We are delighted to assist a prestigious world tournament with their forward thinking plans in this area.’

The event is due to start with a double-header in Cardiff at the Millennium Stadium on 26th October.
