Former Rugby World Cup and Lions legends Will Greenwood and Austin Healey have launched a new family festival of sport, taking place this August, with activities including specialist coaching, competitions, freshly cooked food and music festivities – including a number of famous faces to help along the way.

SportsFest is the pair’s newest offering from their SuperSkills Experiences initiative, set up in 2010 after the backline duo broke into an impromptu coaching session while enjoying a family holiday in Sardinia, and is set to see up to 3,000 children, families and sport professionals coming together on 3rd and 4th August at Wormsley on the Getty family estate.

Hands-on coaching will be available from sporting heroes from a variety of sports. Learn to cut like Andrew Strauss, bowl like Dean Headingly, tackle like Martin Johnson and serve like Tim Henman, with netball, hockey and golf sessions also available.

The inaugural event will offer a unique opportunity for children aged 5 to 16 to learn more about the sports they love, to discover new ones, to develop skills, make new friends, and to be inspired by legends of the game and expert coaches.

The weekend will also include Q&As with the legends, walking trails, personal training sessions, health sessions and other family activities.

For more information on the event visit www.sport-fest.co.uk, and for ticketing information click here, from 12pm on Friday.
