F50 catamaran racing championship SailGP has secured a multi-year, global partnership with French hospitality company Accor.

The deal builds on Accor’s existing agreement with the France SailGP team, which was first signed in 2023.

Under the agreement, which includes ‘official hotel partner’ designation, the firm will receive significant brand visibility throughout the 2025 SailGP season.

The partnership includes hotel accommodation at grand prix races, on-site catering through Potel and Chabot, as well as marketing activations, and brand presence during broadcasts.

Accor has also extended its collaboration with the French team for a further three years.

SailGP’s latest global agreement was announced ahead of last weekend’s New Zealand Grand Prix, which took place on 18th and 19th January.

A truly global brand, Accor embodies the spirit of quality, hospitality and care that we aim to bring to life across all of our events,” said Sir Russell Coutts, CEO of SailGP.

“Together with Accor, we look forward to providing unforgettable waterside experiences for customers and fans around the world – an après-sail atmosphere like no other.”

Stuart Wareman, Global SVP of Experiences, Events & Sponsorship at Accor, added, “SailGP is one of the fastest-growing sports leagues, and its expansion into new markets is further enhancing Accor’s global presence.

“Through this continued partnership, we’ll showcase the leading work our hotels are doing in sustainable travel, with a particular emphasis on our luxury brands, including Sofitel, Fairmont, Raffles and Orient Express.”
