Saints Navigate New Partnership
Southampton FC have agreed a partnership with Garmin, which will see the brand become the club’s official navigation partner and official fitness device partner.
The deal was announced on Friday ahead of the side’s opening Premier League fixture, which saw a spirited Southampton team lose 2-1 to Liverpool at Anfield.
Southampton’s chief executive Gareth Rogers, said: ‘We are excited to be working with such a dynamic and progressive organisation as Garmin.’
‘Based in the same city but both recognised the world over, our shared values around innovation, performance and integrity offer the perfect foundation for a partnership.’
Garmin’s UK general manager Dawn Ramsey added: ‘By teaming up with Southampton, we hope to inspire football fans to see the benefits of a healthy, active way of life as well as enjoying the beautiful game.’
The south-coast side have seen a number of key players leave this summer, two of which made appearances against the club for Liverpool this weekend.
