Saracens Takes Game To Wembley

Saracens is to stage one of its early Guinness Premiership matches at Wembley Stadium in a bid to attract bigger crowds.


The rugby club has moved its second Premiership match of the season against Northampton Saints to Wembley on Saturday, 12th September.


Sarries’ Vicarage Road home in Watford holds 19,900, while England’s football stadium has a capacity of 90,000.
 
The world record attendance for a club rugby union match is 82,208 at Croke Park in last year’s Heineken Cup semi-final between Leinster and Munster.
