Savage Extends Kitbag.com Partnership

Former Barclays Premier League midfielder and BBC football pundit Robbie Savage has extended his deal with Kitbag.com as a brand ambassador of the online sports retailer.

The 39-year-old, who played in England’s top flight for Leicester City, Birmingham City and Blackburn Rovers during an 18-year career, has signed a further 12-month contract with the company after originally agreeing a deal in December 2012.

Under the terms of his new contract he will serve as Kitbag.com’s roaming reporter in Brazil during this year’s FIFA World Cup.

In the past year, the 606 presenter has appeared in promotional events and marketing campaigns on its behalf.

Savage said of the deal: ‘I’ve really enjoyed working with Kitbag.com over the past year. I trust Kitbag.com’s expertise and happily recommend its products and distribution services to fans, colleagues and family and I’m looking forward to working with them again in 2014.’
