Bundesliga side Schalke 04 will have an integrated chip in its replica shirts next season for fans to pay for services as part of the club’s deal with Allyouneedisfresh online supermarket.
The club says it will have the supermarket’s logo on the sleeves and will contain a chip that means fans can pay with their shirts in the stadium.
The four-year deal will begin next season and the chip will mean that fans can buy beer and food, as well as merchandise, on match days.
#S04 are delighted to announce an official shirt sleeve partnership with @AllyouneedFresh!

Schalke communications head Anja Kleine-Wilde tells The Associated Press “they rarely go to kiosks at halftime to quickly get a curry-sausage or a beer.”
Schalke marketing chief Alexander Jobst says the club is “proud to be able to present a world-first in the jersey with integrated payment chip.”
