Scottish Rugby & British Sailing Add Healthspan Elite

Nutrition supplier Healthspan Elite has added the British Sailing Team and Scottish Rugby to its roster of official nutrition partnerships, joining Southampton FC, where the brand is the official vitamin provider.

As the focus on doping continues to increase, Healthspan Elite products are individually sealed in tamper-evident blister packaging, with each line accredited and batch-tested by Informed-Sport, an independent quality assurance programme.

Southampton FC’s head of sports science, Alek Gross, said: “We’ve been using Healthspan Elite’s products for some time and each of our players has a daily intake of its vitamins to support the health and wellbeing plans we have in place. This partnership, however, will allow us to explore our strategy even further.

“By maximising the knowledge and expertise from both Southampton and Healthspan Elite, we’re aiming to develop supplements that will aid the performance and recovery of our players.”
