Scottish Rugby has secured a multi-year principal partnership with UK telecommunications provider Vodafone.
As per the agreement, Vodafone’s logo will serve as the back of shirt sponsor for the Scotland men’s and women’s national rugby union teams.
The company also becomes a principal partner of the Scottish Rugby Women’s Pathway. Through this, women’s pathway teams will have access to Vodafone Player.Connect, the dedicated platform that informs female athletes on the impact of their menstrual cycle on performance, well-being and recovery.

Vodafone’s expansive sports partnership roster includes deals with fellow national rugby union governing bodies the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) and Welsh Rugby Union (WRU).
The company also has a partnership with the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC), covering the iconic grand slam tennis championships at Wimbledon.
“We’re committed to connecting our customers to the people, businesses and places that matter to them, whether it’s using the power of our 5G to elevate the experience for rugby fans or our landmark Vodafone Player.Connect platform to assist the players,” said Rob Winterschladen, Consumer Director at Vodafone UK.
“We’re hugely excited to be working with the Scotland teams and to be further supporting the growth of women’s rugby in the UK.”

“Having a partner who is as passionate as we are about developing our pathway and with the of field support of our players in the use of the Vodafone Player.Connect app is amazing.”
