Rugby website Scrum.com is relaunching under the new name of ESPNscrum.com bringing the brand in line with that of its parent company, ESPN.
The move integrates the site further into the ESPN digital portfolio of websites with the relaunch including a new design incorporating improved usability and enhanced match, player, stats and news content.
Land Rover, the official car of England Rugby, has also signed up as the exclusive launch partner for the re-branding and re-launch of the site.
Land Rover’s marketing campaign has been specifically designed to help strengthen the brand’s association with rugby, and also generate response through brochure requests and test drives. The activity encourages users to interact with Land Rover directly, enhancing its positioning within all aspects of the sport.
The agreement will also see Land Rover’s brand incorporated into all promotional communications for ESPNscrum.com, including offline and event marketing built around the re-launch.
