Setanta Sports has unveiled its presenter line-up for its debut season of TV
coverage of the Barclays Premiership, kicking off in September.

Former ITV man Angus Scott will act as anchor presenter with ex-England and
Liverpool winger Steve McManaman installed as the principal analyst for the
broadcaster’s weekend football output.

Setanta will begin screening FA Premier League games from the start of next
season after striking a £392m deal for the rights to screen 46 games a year from
the league for the next three seasons.

The move by the broadcaster into FA Premier League football is the first time
Sky has not had exclusivity in its top-flight coverage with Sky Sports picking
up the remaining packages available covering 92 games.

Setanta will screen games kicking off at 5.15pm on Saturday night and 8pm on
Monday night from next season.

The Irish-owned broadcaster also recently won a £425m deal in cohorts with
ITV with the Football Association to share the TV rights for the FA Cup and
England’s home international matches for four years, beating incumbent
broadcasters the BBC and Sky.

Setanta Sports launched its Freeview package for £10.99 per month in March of
this year.
