Shell Pushes Ferrari Ties With Films

Shell is producing a series of video news films to provide motorsport fans with an unseen view of its technical partnership and relationship with Ferrari.

Fresh from Ferrari’s one-two race finish at the first Formula One Grand Prix of the 2010 season in Bahrain, Shell is celebrating 450 races of technical partnership with Scuderia Ferrari at the Australian Grand Prix.

In addition to the four minute film featuring Luca di Montezemolo, Ferrari Chairman, Shell is hosting a celebration event for the team and media in Melbourne on 25th March.

Prior to the first Grand Prix, Shell released its first film revealing how it has further developed and optimised its Shell V-Power fuel for Ferrari in light of the new 2010 fuel specifications and in-race refuelling regulation changes.

The films were produced by Prism, global activation agency for Shell since 1999.

Prism’s London office undertook the project as part of its ongoing sponsorship and PR activation for Shell Brands International.

More short news films maintaining a unique inside view of the technical partnership will be released throughout the season and will be available on www.shell.com/motorsport.
