Gaming content, technology, hardware and services provider Inspired has announced a new five-year contract with UK-based bookmaker Betfred Group.

As part of this agreement, Inspired will exclusively provide Betfred with fully integrated managed services for its entire estate of over 5,500 terminals, including installation, remote and field technology support, as well as platform and content deployment.

Brooks Pierce, President and Chief Operating Officer of Inspired, said, “This is a milestone contract for Inspired, securing our largest UK betting shop customer estate until 2028. We are extremely pleased with the results of our new Vantage terminal, which Betfred has agreed to purchase as part of this contract, and we expect that arrangement to be the norm for our LBO customers going forward.”

Mark Stebbings, Betfred Group Chief Operating Officer, added, “Inspired has been a trusted key supplier for 20 years with whom we have a very collaborative partnership. We aspire to provide our customers with the best possible experience.”


Sports data and technology company Sportradar has entered a multi-year partnership with Baseball Australia to ‘engage sports fans globally’ by broadcasting Australian Baseball League (ABL) games live on a dedicated OTT platform.

The new live streaming service, onDemand, is one aspect of the strategic partnership struck between Baseball Australia, Sportradar and the ABL. In addition to powering the new OTT platform, Sportradar will serve as the ABL’s exclusive betting data and audiovisual rights distribution partner, connecting the games to its global network of sportsbook operators and media customers.

Sportradar has also been chosen as the ABL’s official integrity partner, with the company’s Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS), an advanced and proven bet monitoring system, deployed to safeguard the integrity of Baseball Australia and ABL competitions.


London-based sports and entertainment agency CSM Sport & Entertainment (CSM) has announced the appointment of Phil Cooper as Director – Rights.

Phil joins CSM from 16NinetyTwo Sports Management where he was Head of Commercial.

English Football League (EFL) Two football club Gillingham FC has announced a new partnership with UK-based go-karting circuit Buckmore Park.

Gills Commercial Manager, Joe Comper, said, “The first-team squad had a great afternoon at Buckmore Park, so I’m delighted to be able to work closely with them to benefit our fans and encourage them to take part in some Karting as well.

“Anyone booking at Buckmore Park is eligible for discounted tickets here at MEMS Priestfield Stadium, so there’s an immediate benefit, just for spending a few hours having fun on the track! I was impressed with the facilities down at Buckmore Park, and I know a number of our players are heading back for more racing when their schedule allows.”
