UK-based pay-television sports channel BT Sport will remain the Professional Squash Association’s (PSA) official British broadcast partner after renewing its multi-year partnership with the federation.

The broadcaster has televised live action from the sport’s tournaments since 2015, which has included the PSA World Championships, PSA World Tour Platinum events and the PSA World Tour Finals. The latest renewal extends the two organisation’s relationship to over a decade.

PSA Chief Operating Officer Lee Beachill, said, “We are delighted to renew our partnership with BT Sport and are thankful for their continued commitment to the sport. Since the beginning of our partnership in 2015, we have worked closely with BT Sport to broadcast our incredible athletes to our passionate audience in the United Kingdom.

“Together with BT Sport, we have also taken advantage of growing technological trends to help drive the sport forward, notably becoming the first racket sport to be broadcast in UltraHD. We look forward to continuing and enhancing our relationship with BT Sport in the coming seasons.”

The renewal was brokered by PSA’s strategic commercial partner, Infront.


Premier League football AFC Bournemouth has announced the extension of its partnership with UK-based financial services provider Hill Osbourne.

The firm will continue as an official partner to the club, entering its 13th consecutive year of working with Bournemouth.

The firm will continue to have its advertising shown around Cherries’ 11,000-capacity Vitality Stadium, and will attend monthly AFC Business events.

AFC Bournemouth Commercial Director, Rob Mitchell, said, “Hill Osborne are one of our most valued partners, having worked alongside them for a number of years now. We know the personnel at the company very well and have established a great relationship with them.”


Welsh professional rugby union team Scarlets has announced a new partnership with Cardiff-based outdoor media solutions provider Route Media.

The agreement will see Route Media provide the club with digital advertising across Wales through a number of the company’s roadside advertising screens.

Trudy Waters, Head of Marketing and Technology at the Scarlets commented, “The Scarlets are very pleased to partner with Route Media to provide roadside advertising in key strategic locations throughout our local catchment area for the duration of the season.”


EFL Championship club Norwich City will change its main shirt sponsor for its home match against Preston North End in order to support a local charity.

The Canaries has announced that players will wear the kits on Saturday 8th October, in order to raise awareness of the work of Mind Norfolk and Waveney ahead of World Mental Health Day on 10th October.

City sponsors Lotus Cars agreed to have its logo removed for the game, which will also see Mind representatives chatting to fans outside the ground prior to kick-off.
