Havas-owned full-service creative agency Cake has promoted Managing Director Rosie Holden (pictured above) to CEO.

Holden’s appointment to the vacant position will see her head up a 10-person leadership team and, according to a statement, is ‘recognition of year-on-year revenue growth of 45% and a run of new business success spanning major brands and rights holders’.

Ticketing marketplace viagogo has appointed management consulting and investment services business GVS (Global Venue Services), as its strategic advisor in the UK.

According to a statement, the new agreement is a ‘wide-ranging alliance’ which includes strategic communications support.

Broadcaster Sky Sports has acquired the UK broadcasting rights to Suncorp Super Netball, the top level of netball in Australia. 

Under terms of the agreement with Netball Australia, Sky Sports will broadcast 60 live matches across the 2022 season.

The 2022 season Suncorp Super Netball begins this weekend (26th March) and features a Grand Final rematch between the New South Wales Swifts and rival Sydney-based team GIANTS Netball. 


British telecommunications company O2 has announced its first ever boxing sponsorship deal with 25-year-old boxer Shannon Ryan. 

As part of the agreement, O2 will supply Ryan with all of her fight wear clothing, which will feature the O2 logo.

Watford-based Ryan will make her professional debut this weekend live on Sky Sports against at the OVO Wembley Arena.


Republic of Ireland Northern Ireland-based performance tracking company STATSports has been announced as the official partner of the Football Association of Ireland (FAI).

STATSports’ products, which have been used by the FAI for almost a decade, will be used across the Republic of Ireland U17, U19, U21, senior men’s and senior women’s teams.
